ACEA currently works with custom-designed, short-term programs, developed in close collaboration with partner universities and local providers.

Our Health & Safety approach is designed as a comprehensive support system that begins before arrival and continues throughout the program.

Participant Preparation

Before arrival, participants receive orientation coordinated with their home institution, including:

  • Health and safety considerations in Chile
  • Cultural norms and expectations
  • Medical insurance requirements
  • Emergency procedures and communication protocols

On-Site Support

ACEA works with carefully selected local partners. Participants have access to:

  • Local support contacts during the program
  • Guidance on accessing medical services
  • Ongoing communication with ACEA staff

Emergency Response

  • 24/7 local emergency contact
  • Coordination with authorities and medical services
  • Communication with home institutions

Shared Responsibility

  • Comply with local laws and regulations
  • Follow public health and safety guidelines
  • Communicate concerns promptly

Health Insurance

All participants must have valid international health insurance covering medical care, emergencies, and evacuation.
